We encourage the use of public transport through the offer of a bursary that may be awarded to cover part of the costs incurred for the purchase of a subscription to urban public transport, as well as suburban, inter-city and integrated rail.<\/p>\n
Director\u2019s Decree No. 231 of 11\/15\/2016 published an “Announcement for the provision of financial assistance aimed to encourage the use of public transport” for the Academic Year 2016\/2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n ESU Verona, in order to incentivise the use of public means of transport within a wider programme to develop sustainable mobility, may issue stipends to cover part of the cost of purchasing a subscription:<\/p>\n The beneficiaries of this program are registered students of the University of Verona, the Conservatory of Music, and the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona, who have purchased an annual\u00a0<\/strong>subscription for public urban, suburban, inter-city or integrated rail transport to and from their respective university campus, without any income ceiling, and which is determined by distance.<\/p>\n This benefit is disbursed as a benefit: 2)<\/strong> to users who DO MEET the income and merit requirements for the awarding of a regional scholarship: Applications can be made for the following annual subscriptions, up to a maximum<\/strong> of 10 months, for the period September 2016 – July 2017<\/strong>, used for travel to and from the domicile \/ residence and the respective campus or Faculty, or in any case the place of study:<\/p>\n The costs associated with the subscription to public urban\/inter-urban and integrated transit are cumulative with those related to rail transport.<\/p>\n To qualify for the award of the assistance it is a requirement, under penalty of application rejection, to fill out the online application, available at www.esu.vr.it no later than 12:00 midday on 31 March<\/strong> 2017<\/strong>, entering the data and amounts of the annual subscription for which support is requested.<\/p>\n The issuance of this assistance can only be made via the “UNIVERSITY ESU CARD” and only if the card has been activated as a bank card by 31 March 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n Any request for this assistance in a form other than that specified, or the erroneous or inaccurate completion, or any failure to comply with the final deadline for the presentation of the application, or failure to activate the “UNIVERSITY ESU CARD” by the deadline indicated, or any failure to submit the documents listed in the form and within the time limits provided, shall result in ineligibility.<\/p>\n The applicant is required to keep and to produce upon request all related documents proving the actual purchase of subscriptions for which the application for assistance was made.<\/p>\n To be able to apply for the issuance of the transport benefit you must complete and confirm<\/strong> the specific online module by 12:00 noon on 31 March 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n The applicant must:<\/p>\n Hard copies of the related documents are NOT to be sent unless otherwise expressly requested by the ESU office.<\/strong><\/p>\n The subscription amounts indicated in the online modules MUST be for subscriptions you have already purchased.<\/strong><\/p>\n Approved contribution shall be paid in a lump sum payment to the “UNIVERSITY ESU CARD” no later than 30 April 2017.<\/p>\n DOCUMENTATION<\/strong> PORTAL<\/strong> Any questions?
